A drunk driver crashed into the patrol car of a state trooper and cadet, who were both injured in the collision. The crash happened Sunday, along Interstate 5, just south of downtown Seattle, the Washington State Patrol reported.

A Snohomish man suffered life-threatening injuries on Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle.

A bicyclist was hit by a driver this morning in the Skyway neighborhood. According to King County sheriff’s Deputies, the cyclist was killed.

Sgt. John Urquhart said that the accident happened on South 130th Street and Renton Avenue South around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning. The driver was a man in his 70s, and the male cyclist died at the scene. There was no further information available about the driver or the victim.

Urquhart also said that police are investigating how the fatal Renton car crash happened. The road will remain closed for several hours, he added.

Baby critically injured when ejected from car in auto accident in Federal Way

Early Monday morning in Federal Way, an 11-month-old boy was critically injured when he was ejected from a car during a crash. According to police, the crash occurred just before 12:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Southwest 356th Street.

The Washington State Patrol reported that two people were injured Tuesday evening after two cars collided along Highway 530 near the rodeo grounds.

The collision happened at 5:40 p.m. when the car driven by a 30-year-old man from Darrington hit a car driven by a 48-year-old woman from Darrington. The woman’s car was hit from behind and sent into the oncoming lane while she was stopped for rodeo grounds traffic.

According to authorities, a traffic light that wasn’t working led to a car crash in Kent that pinned two small cars under a 1-ton pickup truck.

The crash occurred at about 4:45 p.m. Monday at South 212 Street and 84th Avenue South. Kent police and firefighters responded.

The 1-ton pickup had been towing another full-size pickup truck when the King County truck accident occurred. The two cars and the truck ran into a semi truck in the middle of the intersection.

A multi-vehicle crash caused a mess Friday on I-5 near Mill Creek.

Included in the accident was a rolled-over Seattle Public Works dump truck.

A head-on car crash in Washington Friday, involving two cars, shut down Highlands Drive on Friday. Drivers of both cars were transported by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

A 21-year-old woman, the driver of one of the cars, was in critical condition. According to Issaquah Police Deputy Chief Steve Cozart, she was heading uphill (southbound) on Highlands Drive, crossed the center line and hit the other car head on.

Eastside Fire & Rescue Chief Lee Soptich said that several fire engines, aid cars, a chaplain and a public information officer from EFR were dispatched to the scene, as well as Issaquah Police and Bellevue paramedics.
