According to the King County Sheriff’s office, a 48-year-old man from Covington was killed last week after his vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree.

The accident occurred in the 17800 block of Southeast Covington-Sawyer Road on Thursday evening, at about 11:10 p.m. The man was alone in his SUV, and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
According to deputies, he died a short time later.
Speed might have contributed to the deadly King County SUV accident. Deputies are investigating the crash.
