Regulators Urge Ford Drivers To Park Recalled Vehicles Due To Major Risks

Safety recalls are issued often. And yet, many drivers remain unaware of the risks associated with their vehicles.

One of the most dangerous and concerning auto recalls in recent history impacts millions of vehicles nationwide. But the recall had to be split in several campaigns as companies were not able to get their hands on replacement parts quickly enough. These campaigns all had one thing in common, however. That’s the presence of air bag modules fitted with metal parts that could explode in the event of a collision.

Since many cars have yet to be recalled or at least, fixed, federal regulators are urging caution.

Mercedes-Benz Car Owners, Beware Of New Accident-Related Recall

Mercedes-Benz has announced that a new accident-related recall campaign is underway. This announcement matters because it impacts drivers across the United States. To Seattle and other Washington locations, this also matters because the issue could increase the risk of an auto accident.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Mercedes-Benz has recalled all units of the 2017 E300 4Matic, E300, and E43 AMG vehicles that have been fitted with LED headlights.

These vehicles come with low beam headlights that may not be able to illuminate the roadway enough because of a misadjustment. As a result, the driver may not see obstacles and other cars ahead well enough to avoid a possible collision.

Consumer Reports: Romaine Lettuce Linked To Deadly Outbreak

According to Consumer Reports, an E. coli outbreak has impacted at least 13 states in the United States and Canada. One person in each country has died as a result while 58 people so far were infected. The strain associated with this outbreak, E. coli O157: H7, has been traced back to romaine lettuce in Canada where health officials have been alerting consumers to stop eating lettuce since December 14. But here in the United States, the Food and Drug Administration as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are still investigating.

The federal agencies refuse to alert consumers whether they should refrain from eating lettuce in order to avoid being contaminated but in Canada, individuals are well aware that the consumption of lettuce, which is often eaten raw, may lead to serious and even deadly health conditions.

The holiday season brings out everybody’s creative side. But when it comes to Holiday decoration that will be used outdoors only, some businesses tend to be a little too creative, increasing the risk of plane accidents.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, displays with lots of lights may pose risks to pilots. Since lasers can, sometimes, blind pilots temporarily, pointing lasers to the sky can be dangerous and even illegal.

While many of the holiday decorations we use come with warnings that explain the dangers associated with that specific product, faulty set ups may end up causing certain lasers to point higher than what the consumer originally intended. As a result, this may cause problems to pilots in an aircraft.

Many dog bite incidents happen with animals victims are familiar with. It’s because of that reality that many victims of these horrific attacks are now speaking up.

To a mother whose child lost the left side of his face in a dog bite incident involving their own pet, this reality is all too real not to share the story with others. After the attack, which happened at home, the child was left with a jaw broken in two places. But that wasn’t the only injury the child sustained. According to the heartbroken mother, the child had his arm broken and his lung severely impacted.

By telling her son’s story, she hopes others will take the steps she didn’t take.
